How can I stop cloud watch agent for just part of metrixes not all

Question

I run Cloud Watch Agent on my ubuntu on ec2 instance to get matrix of mem_used_percent. But unintentionally it started to collect matrix of disk and I want Cloud Watch Agent to stop send information of disks. Is there any solution to stop just part of collection of matrix or should I just unistall it and set up again ?

The default predefined metric set (basic) includes disk and memory - see [here](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonCloudWatch/latest/monitoring/create-cloudwatch-agent-configuration-file-wizard.html). You should create a [configuration file](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonCloudWatch/latest/monitoring/CloudWatch-Agent-Configuration-File-Details.html#CloudWatch-Agent-Configuration-File-Complete-Example) for the agent which includes only the metrics you want and configure the agent to use that file
