How to tell if Amazon SES dedicated IP is set up correctly

0

Hello,

We signed up for Amazon SES and took the recommendation for a dedicated IP. However, my console seems to show contradictory information regarding its configuration.

This screenshot shows what I see under Dedicated IPs, and there is nothing suggesting it is misconfigured.

However, this screenshot (from Get Set Up) says that it's disabled.

If anyone has a suggestion, I would appreciate it! We are about to launch some busy website based forums using Amazon SES for email delivery and want to use a dedicated IP to reduce the likelihood of landing in spam.

Thanks!

Thank you for your reply. I read the content on the page whose link you sent, but it still does not explain where or how to do the walkthrough.

Dedicated IP addresses (managed)—you don’t need to submit a request for dedicated IP addresses. They'll automatically be allocated when you opt in and do a one-time walkthrough to create your managed dedicated pool.

Per the screenshots I shared, my account is telling me that I both have a dedicated managed IP set up but also do not. If anyone else would be willing to help me address this disparity, I would appreciate it.

Dedicated IP for SES need an additional setup. Please refer to the below link https://docs.aws.amazon.com/ses/latest/dg/dedicated-ip.html#dedicated-ip-simplicity
