ElasticIP not working after creating image

Hi

Earlier today we created an image of our instance. Shortly after we noticed that our server cant communicate with the elasticIP connected. Not even responds to a ping. We are sure that the Private IP is matching the in the config. and nothing really has changed since the image creation.

Can you help us find out what could have caused this?

How are your security groups configured?
Make sure your inbound rules allow the necessary communication.

    Hi

    Yes im sure, its configures correctly. I have now created a new instance running the image I created and I've reassigned the ElasticIP and now its working.

    Its kinda weired
