Publish to AWS not displaying in VS Code

I was doing a Lab which required me to do a publish to AWS from VS code under the Solution Explorer tab. Unfortunately the "publish to AWS" is not displaying when i right click as the lab indicates. Only (Build - Rebuild - Clean ) are showing. I uninstalled AWS toolkit - reinstalled, checked if i had all the dependencies which i do. Restarted the VS code, checked my Explorer which is connected and has admin rights so the credentials shouldn't be an issue. Im all out of ideas at this point. I was wondering if anyone else experienced this same ordeal with the "Publish to AWS" not displaying when you right - click in Solution Explorer. If so what steps did you take to rectify this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated
