Hi,

You raise a very good question! The pricing doc is not very detailled "Pay only for the API calls you receive and the amount of data transferred out" See https://aws.amazon.com/api-gateway/pricing/

Based on our recent decision re. S3 (see https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2024/05/amazon-s3-no-charge-http-error-codes/), it is really worth asking this question to AWS Support (via a ticket) to obtain an official response.
