Redshift Serverless - Base RPU at 32 - can't go lower

Question

Hi,

We recently setup redshift serverless and loaded some small data (a few mb). 
In the console, within the workgroup, when I click on "actions" --> Edit base RPU capacity", I can't go lower than 32.

32 RPU is overkill for my use cases as a base capacity and would like to start at the minimum (8). How can I make these changes in the UI ?

Hi Hubert

The lower RPU capacity (minimum 8 RPU) is only available in the following regions -> US East (Ohio), US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), Asia Paciﬁc (Singapore), Asia Paciﬁc (Sydney), Asia Paciﬁc (Tokyo), Europe (Frankfurt), Europe (Ireland).

Could you check if your cluster is situated in these regions?

That answers my question ! I'm on West Europe (London). Is there a roll out schedule / plan for other regions?
