Video and Image Compression abilities on s3

Question

I have an important question, please. Does S3 offer any file compression abilities? or can I get this with any Amazon service? I upload videos and pictures to s3 from my application, And I need to display the compressed version of these on my application. (something that can compress into kb sizes)

You can use [Amazon Elastic Transcode service](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/elastictranscoder/latest/developerguide/introduction.html) or [AWS Elemental MediaConvert](https://aws.amazon.com/mediaconvert/). They will not convert the files while you are uploading to S3, but transcode the files that are already stored in S3, then save the file in desired reduced format\size.
