Availability of db.r6gd for RDS MariaDB reservations

0

Will db.r6gd instances be available for reservations on RDS MariaDB soon? The on-demand instances have been available for MariaDB since Jan 2023 per this post, but as of now they cannot be reserved via the RDS Console (N. Virginia). They can be reserved for RDS MySQL but not RDS MariaDB. We have an expired reservation and are looking to migrate to MariaDB so would like to know if this will be available for reserving soon.

You may want to consider using on-demand instances or reserved instances for other instance types that are currently available for RDS MariaDB. Or you can contact to AWS Support.
