Root cause/Debug high latencies observed between AuthSVC hosted on AWS and Redis

0

In hyperforce stage 300 environment, we observed that when running k6 test where 600 requests/minute were being made to authsvc v2/token flow, p95 latencies were observed to be as high as 10 seconds for 1 minute span during the test runs. This was further root caused to very high latencies observed for redis calls made by authsvc. After doing investigation with Redis team, it was found from server side logs that Redis server responded in few hundred milliseconds as max response time. Now, we want to check if there is network latency coming in to the picture here and need help from AWS team. Can someone help here? Thanks!

Hello,

Unfortunately, there is no general guidance we would be able to offer here. I would advise you to contact our EC2 Support team by opening a technical support case at https://aws.amazon.com/contact-us/

They have the tools and insight to assist with issues such as this.
