Does AppSync OPENID_CONNECT auth mode support OIDC IdPs with implicit flow?

The AppSync doc (https://docs.aws.amazon.com/appsync/latest/devguide/security-authz.html#openid-connect-authorization) mentions a few things that the OIDC provider must have. But is implicit flow OIDC provider supported (without the Token or UserInfo endpoints)?
