Future DataZone API features

From https://docs.aws.amazon.com/datazone/latest/userguide/what-is-datazone.html: "Currently, in this Preview release, the Amazon DataZone APIs are not supported."

What functionality can be expected from this APIs? Is it going to be only related to administrative tasks or will this include data querying or ability to integrate with other AWS services?

Unfortunately, exact information has not yet been released.
This is just my guess, but I think that basically the operations that can be done from the management console will be SDKs, etc.
