Plesk Stack sometimes asks for license key - how to fix if it does???

0

I have found that about 25% of the time when I setup a new Plesk Stack on Lightsail and go to setup plesk for the first time after getting the URL from sudo plesk login that the setup/login screen is asking for the plesk license key.

Is there a step I'm missing somewhere / something I should be checking out - and if this does happen is there any way to paste in a value without having to delete the instance and setting it up a 2nd time?

Sorry to hear about the issue. Below are the two documents which you can follow to setup Plesk instance. There is the step you need to confirm the Plesk license key.

Thank you for the reply - I have found that when this happens if I reboot the server once or twice it resolves it.
The issue occurs at step 6 of https://lightsail.aws.amazon.com/ls/docs/en_us/articles/set-up-and-configure-plesk-stack-on-lightsail

In that it prompts for a license key vs just asking for the email / password - I believe it may have something to do with a connection to a licensing server and the reboot fixes it.

As a quick follow up to this upon doing some google searches
I found if I did
sudo ls -l /etc/sw/keys/keys
and found an XML file it means the License key did not install correctly
I tried plesk bin license -i /etc/sw/keys/keys/LICENSE.xml to install it manually an although it did convert to a key - it didn't do the Web Admin SE edition

I ended up deleting the instance and starting over but wasn't sure if there was a way to fix it
