Billing for Free Trial

I opened an AWS account on Friday Feb 3rd 2023. I created a AWS WOrkspace and than accidenially created a second. The Workspaces where shown as a "2 month Free Trial". On Saturday Feb 4th, I received a warning that I had consumed 1.8 months of time on the workspaces. Today the account shows I have used 89.94% of the free trial and 60% of the hours. How can this be a "2 month free trial" if it is consumed in a day?
