RDS instance stuck in "Configuring-enhanced-monitoring" state for weeks
I have an RDS instance (postgres, non-aurora) that someone must have set enhanced monitoring for. Now it still works, but it is stuck in a state of "Configuring-enhanced-monitoring" and won't let me modify it to increase the disk space, upgrade the version, or anything. It has been this way for weeks and is not an enormous DB (like maybe 60GB). I can't even reboot it. It just says it can't do that because the instance is not in an available state. Is there any way to get it out of that state?
Hello, clearly there is something going on with internal infrastructure with respect to your RDS in question. If not already, please open support ticket with RDS team and we should be able to help. It is definitely not normal to have RDS in "Configuring-enhanced-monitoring" state for weeks and not allowing you to modify the RDS makes situation worse for you.
