I cant seem to figure out how to disable my ml.c4 hosting instance.. any help?

The hosting instance ml.m4.xlarge is for a SageMaker real-time inference endpoint. To stop incurring costs, head to the SageMaker console and delete the running endpoint if you no longer need it. You can find it under Endpoints in the Inference category. Hope it helps

If I understand correctly you are concerned with your inference instance where you are hosting your model. 
Inference instance will incurs costs as log as endpoint is active. You can refer to following document for best practices
