Coursera Discussion Forum (AWS Cloud Technical Essentials) course

0

Hi Folks, I'm taking the AWS Cloud Technical Essentials course on Coursera. The Discussion Forum don't seem to work for that course and I was wanting to ask anyone on the class for advice. I reached out to Coursera support and they pointed me to the repost.aws site regarding questions. I see a few questions on this course, but not really much specific.

Should the Discussion Forum for this course in Coursera work and load something? (I'm wondering as well since there are a few prompts for us to post to this forum (such as the "Discussion Prompt" in Week 3 - Databases on AWS section), but you can only see those messages and not get the the Forum from that spot.

Thanks for any help or clarification of what I should do! -Brian

  • Hi, I have just started the same course and wanted to know if any tips are helpful for the course. like how important are the external resource sections, any other readings should I do? etc.

Hi Brian,

Morgan Willis here from the team creating these courses on Coursera. We do not support discussion forums on Coursera, so that is why you cannot access them. We use discussion forums for specific self-reflection questions only where you can see others responses. Technical questions around AWS in general should be posted here in re:Post, where there are more active users with AWS expertise, so the AWS community can help you get answers.

Thanks, Morgan Willis
