Can EFS rollback files ?

Hello,

From time to time we notice that our PHP files in EFS revert to older versions. "Can Lifecycle cause such a thing?" We started to think. Does Lifecycle only optimize by adjusting the access time or does it version the files within itself as we feared?

we noticed this in regular EBS file system. seems like whenever a reboot occurred (always or sometimes, i dont know) the drive would revert to some older version of files. crazy. just happened again when I made an AMI snapshot 2 weeks ago. it has been happening for years. it is a true bug in their setup. it may be related to your issue.
