Cannot Upgrade DB engine due to performace insight

This is the error saying.

Cannot modify engine version because instance mysql-sit-db has Performance Insights enabled and the new version doesn't support this feature.

my current mysql engine version is aurora (mysql 5.7 2.04.4)

What version are you upgrading to?
What instance type are you currently on? Are you changing the instance type at the same time as upgrade? and if so, what is the new instance type? Performance Insights on Aurora MySQL is not supported on t2 and t3.
Other than the t2 and t3 restrictions, Performance Insights should be supported on on Aurora MySQL 2.X versions starting from 2.04.2
