To backfill data for your CID (Cloud Intelligence Dashboards) for the last three months, you cannot manually bring in the data yourself. The recommended approach is to open a support case with AWS to request a backfill of your cost data.

When opening the support case, make sure to provide the following information:

  1. The report name
  2. The specific billing periods you want backfilled (in this case, the last three months)

It's important to note that there are some limitations to backfilling data:

  1. You cannot get a backfill for cost data from before the date you created your AWS account.
  2. If you use AWS Organizations and there have been changes to the organization structure (such as changing which account is designated as the management account), you cannot get a backfill of data with the previous organization structure.
  3. If you've changed organizations, you cannot get a backfill of data from before joining your current organization.

After submitting the support case, AWS will process your request and backfill the data for the specified periods. This process may take some time, so be patient. Once the data is backfilled, it should appear in your CID dashboard, allowing you to view the cost and usage information for the last three months.

Remember that even after the data is backfilled, it may take some time (up to 24 hours) for the data to propagate through the system and appear in your dashboard. If you still don't see the data after this period, you may need to refresh your QuickSight datasets or check your Athena tables to ensure the data is properly ingested.
