Hi, you cannot cancel it after the purchase (https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonRDS/latest/UserGuide/USER_WorkingWithReservedDBInstances.html). If you need assistance with this, please raise a support ticket with AWS.

Hi! What happened with your wrong reservation? Did you open AWS support ticket and if so, did they allow you to cancel the wrong reservation? I'm in a similar situation and opened a support ticket but still waiting for their decision. That is why I'm curious about the outcome.
