I have no services running in Free Tier and my bills keep raising

0

Hello everyone,

I have a problem, although I'm still in Free Tier and I have deleted all costly services, my bills keep raising, although I'm not using any services. As I said I have deleted the instances, mainly the ElastiCache.

Why could this happen?

Hi,

Go to Billing and Cost Management, then Cost Explorer, then you see details.

Thanks,

This should help on how to avoid incurring costs during free tier: https://repost.aws/knowledge-center/free-tier-charges

Hello,

Steps for how to resolve this issue:

  1. Check the Elasticache Free Tier thresholds specified here https://aws.amazon.com/elasticache/pricing/#:~:text=using%20ElastiCache%20now%C2%A0%C2%BB-,AWS%20Free%20Tier,-As%20part%20of

  2. Compare the above with what you're seeing under AWS Console > Billing & Cost Management > Cost Explorer > Cost Breakdown > ElastiCache

  3. In the AWS Console search for and go into Support Center. Select Account & Billing, then select Create case. If there should be no charges based on the above for ElastiCache, request that the billing amount be adjusted accordingly.

If this helps solve your problem, please choose this as the Accepted Answer so others on re:Post may benefit - Thank you!
