SMS not reaching recipient

Sending SMS out of the SNS console to a recipient in Kenya. Per delivery statistics, the SMS has been delivered. But the customer has not received the SMS. How do I trouble shoot. I am sending the optional sender ID along the SMS content.

Hi,

I would suggest to start by following the last section of https://repost.aws/knowledge-center/sns-troubleshoot-sms-message-failures

It is named "Confirm that your originating identity is Regionally supported". It allow you to confirm that you can send SMS to a Kenyan recipient.
