Trace ID informed in CloudWatch Log Groups doesn't match with Trace ID on X-Ray

I was wondering the meaning of the trace ID displayed in the CloudWatch log groups. It doesn't match any trace ID listed/available in CloudWatch X-Ray. Can you help me understand its usage?
