AWS Rekogniton Custom labels - Cannot 'Start' more than 3 models at the same time

0

We currently have 5 different projects (models) in Amazon Rekognition Custom Labels.

We are getting an issue when we 'Start' more than 3 models at the same time. When the 4th model is started we get the following notification on the console: "LimitExceededException: Cannot host more than 2 ProjectVersions".

Could you help explain what the reason for this is? Is there a possible solution/workaround to hosting more than 3 models at the same time.

Hi,

If you go to https://docs.aws.amazon.com/general/latest/gr/rekognition.html#limits_rekognition, there is a corresponding quota:

Maximum number of concurrently running Amazon Rekognition Custom Labels models per account : 2

BTW, this page gives you all quotas around Rekognition: please, have a detailled look at it.

You can ask AWS Support for quota increase via the console of your account. It's documented here: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/servicequotas/latest/userguide/request-quota-increase.html

Best,

Didier
