error when submitting a sender-id application for the country "OMAN"

Question

I am trying to register a sender-id, on aws console for End User Messaging, but as soon as i click on "request" button i get the following error:

"Validation Error Occurred - Reason="SENDER_ID_REQUIRES_REGISTRATION" Fields="isoCountryCode" RequestId: f3594742-733e-4441-a8d5-7117c4a8af6d HttpStatusCode: 400"

is this a form validation issue? it's not that i have control on how to input the iso country code. I just simply pick the country name from the drop-down list. and proceed with entering the required sender-id and relevant information.

anyone could suggest a solution?

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Please note that AWS does not currently support pre-registration of Sender IDs for Oman. While this feature is being developed internally, we do not have an estimated timeframe for when it will become available. At this time, message delivery to Oman is handled on a best-effort basis through Shared Routes.

To send messages to Oman via Shared Routes using the SMS Voice V2 API, you must utilize a phone pool that has Shared Routes enabled. For more information on phone pools, please refer to our documentation: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/sms-voice/latest/userguide/phone-pool.html
