S3->SQS latency

Hi,

We have an S3 Event Notification configured to push to an SQS queue when a file is uploaded to a bucket. However, about an hour ago, these started coming in consistently ~20 minutes late, but only for some of our buckets.

We didn't change any configs, and aren't running into any resource limitations as far as I can tell. There's nothing about this on the AWS status dashboard.

Is this just something transient and we should "wait it out", or do we need to rearchitect around unreliability of S3 Event Notifications?
