The issue you're experiencing with not seeing any reports in the Insights Dashboard, particularly in the Usage Dashboards section, for your AMI-based product in AWS Marketplace is likely due to a few factors:
-
Limited State: Your product is currently in the "Limited" state, which means it's only released to specific accounts for testing purposes. This limited visibility may affect the data available in the Insights Dashboard.
-
Recent Publication: If you've only recently published the product and subscribed from an allowlisted account, there might be a delay in data processing and appearance in the dashboard. It typically takes some time for usage data to be collected, processed, and displayed.
-
Usage Data Requirements: The Usage Dashboard specifically shows customer product usage information. If there hasn't been significant usage of your product yet, there may not be enough data to populate the dashboard.
-
Data Processing Time: Even though you've configured the Seller Data Feeds Service and your S3 bucket is receiving Product Feed CSV files, the Insights Dashboard may have a separate data processing pipeline that takes additional time to reflect this information.
To address this issue:
-
Ensure that your product has been used by the subscribed account. The dashboard needs actual usage data to display information.
-
Allow more time for data to be collected and processed. It may take a few days for usage data to appear in the dashboard after initial subscription and usage.
-
Check if you have the necessary permissions to access the Insights Dashboard. Make sure you're logged in with the correct seller account credentials.
-
If the issue persists after a few days of active usage, consider contacting AWS Marketplace seller support for further assistance. They can help verify if there are any specific issues with your account or product setup that might be preventing the data from appearing in the Insights Dashboard.
Remember, the new Usage Dashboard is designed to provide visualized reporting for customer product usage, but it requires actual usage data to populate. As your product moves from Limited to Public state and gains more subscribers and usage, you should start seeing more comprehensive data in the Insights Dashboard.

Hi, Here are a few steps to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:
-
Check Seller Data Feeds Configuration Ensure that the Seller Data Feeds service is correctly configured. Verify that: 1.1)The S3 bucket specified for the Seller Data Feeds is correctly set up and accessible. 1.2)The correct IAM roles and policies are in place to allow the AWS Marketplace to write data to the S3 bucket. 1.3) The feed configuration is set to generate the required reports (e.g., product feed, usage feed).
-
Verify Feed File Content: 2.1)Check the content of the CSV files in your S3 bucket: 2.2)Ensure the files are being updated regularly. 2.3)Verify the data format and ensure there are no errors or missing data in the CSV files.
-
Insights Dashboard Permissions Ensure you have the necessary permissions to view the Insights Dashboard: 3.1)You need to have the appropriate IAM role or user permissions to access AWS Marketplace Insights. 3.2)Check if the account you are using has access to the Insights Dashboard.
-
Data Processing Time It might take some time for the data to be processed and appear in the Insights Dashboard. Ensure that sufficient time has passed since the data was populated in the S3 bucket.

Thank you for answering. The problem is I could see the data feed files in the S3 bucket, but I couldn't see the same in the Insights Dashboard. Can I know how much time does it generally take for the Dashboards to update? Its almost 1 day since my S3 bucket got populated.
Thanks in advance.
