Hello, upgrading an environment running Ubuntu to a newer version is not something which is advocated for, at the moment. Though, there is no known issues that may arise, and in general it should work as expected, this has not been properly tested yet, thus the upgrade might be risky.
Further, in case of any issues please make use of the following documentation for troubleshooting purpose. [+]https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cloud9/latest/user-guide/troubleshooting.html

Thanks! Is there a plan to officially support newer versions of ubuntu on cloud9? Maybe when 18.04 LTS reaches end of standard support?
Now, Cloud9 official creates a new environment with Ubuntu 22.04. How about upgrading existing environment from 18.04 to 22.04?
