Missing Add Asset button on Monitorn

Question

Hi all, I need to add new assets to my sites existing Monitron system. But I do not have a add asset button as shown in the guides - I have gone through every window and tab but wont let me do it.

Are there specific permissions that are required in order to do this?

In Amazon Monitron, the ability to add assets might be limited by your user permissions. Based on the information available, there are a few things to check:

1. Make sure you're properly signed in to the Amazon Monitron web app or mobile app.

2. Verify that you've selected the correct project and site where you want to add the asset.

3. Once on the Assets page for your selected site, you should see an "Add asset" button.

While the documentation doesn't explicitly mention permission levels for Amazon Monitron specifically, it's possible that your account doesn't have the necessary permissions to add assets. This would be similar to how AWS IoT SiteWise Monitor restricts adding assets to portal administrators only.

If you've confirmed you're in the correct location in the interface and still don't see the Add asset button, you might need to contact your Amazon Monitron administrator to check your access permissions or to have them add the asset for you.
