Hello.
Sign in to your AWS account and access the following URL.
Accessing the URL will display your AWS account bill.
https://us-east-1.console.aws.amazon.com/billing/home?region=us-east-1#/bills
For example, my AWS account incurs 3.24 USD for KMS in the Tokyo region, but because it is paid with credits, the total is 0 USD.
If you have set up AWS CUR, you can also check it from CUR.

Monitoring free account plan information: You can monitor your free account plan expiration date, credit balance, and days remaining through the AWS Cost and Usage Report widget, AWS Management Console home, or programmatically through the AWS SDK and CLI at no cost. You also receive periodic email alerts regarding your credit balance and when you are approaching the end of your free account plan period.
To check your current usage costs while on the AWS Free Tier plan, you have several options:
-
Access the Free Tier dashboard in the AWS Billing and Cost Management console. This page provides detailed insights into your current usage per service, Region, and type. It shows how much of each Free Tier service you are currently using and helps you track when you might exceed the free usage limits.
-
Sign into the AWS Management Console and open the Billing and Cost Management console. From there, you can:
- Choose "Bills" to see details of your current charges
- Choose "Payments" to view historical payment transactions
- Choose "Data Exports" to create exports of your billing and cost management data
-
For more proactive monitoring, you can set up AWS Free Tier usage alerts that will automatically notify you via email when you exceed 85% of the Free Tier limit for each service.
-
You can also configure a zero spend budget within the AWS Billing and Cost Management console. This will send you notifications when your usage exceeds the Free Tier limits, helping you avoid unexpected charges.
These tools will help you monitor the usage of your S3, Lambda, Batch, and other services to ensure you stay within the Free Tier limits.
