Change the drive letter of the default disk before migration

0

What if an existing instance on another cloud platform contains the same drive letter as the default/temp disk of the AWS virtual machine? Before migrating, is it possible to modify the default drive? What will occur if we fail to update the drive letter?

Yes, it is possible to modify the default drive letter before migrating to AWS. If you fail to update the drive letter, the existing instance may not be able to access the data on the AWS virtual machine's default or temp disk. This can lead to data loss or corruption.
