One common cause of GetInstanceAccess failures is from the gamelift instance having no space left on disk. In order to investigate your issue specifically, you'll need to reach out to AWS support via AWS Support Center.

Anyone? is this really how bad the support for gamelift is? its too bad that we have already integrated gamelift and we are already in the tail end of our project, if we have known the support is this bad, we couldve not used gamelift
definitely not recommended.
