Unable to create CloudFront distribution - account must be verified

I am trying to create a CloudFront distribution but I receive the error:

"Your account must be verified before you can add new CloudFront resources."

My account is active, has a payment method configured, and I already use services like S3, Lambda, API Gateway and DynamoDB.

I also opened a support case but it has not been assigned for several days.

This is currently blocking my project.

Has anyone faced this issue? How long does the verification usually take?

The error message you encountered indicates that a security detection has been identified on your account, which prevents the creation of new resources.

This requires a recovery procedure from our Customer Service (CS) team. Since technical support cases cannot handle this type of issue, you'll need to open a CS case for account recovery.

Please create a new case through the following path, and an appropriate representative will be assigned to verify if your account has been secured:

https://support.console.aws.amazon.com/support/home#/case/create?issueType=customer-service

Select "Account and billing" → "Account - Security - General question/Important question"
