Amazon connect claimed phone number is not released when instance deleted

Question

Registered an Amazon connect instance for testing for few hours and deleted the instance.  
The claimed phone number is not released and the charges is keep counting about $0.05 per day.  
Raised case number 9272564611.  
Is there anyone facing this issue?

Answer

My understanding was that you're charged like $1/day for that number for a month. So after a month the charge will drop off.

My support case had been resolved.  
  
To update, the charges will still going on from nov to dec (cross month) until support team explicitly stop it.  
  
I will remind myself to always delete phone number before delete amazon connect instance next time to avoid this bug from ocurring.
