Hello,

If you refer this link - https://aws.amazon.com/certification/certified-solutions-architect-associate/ under "Prepare for your exam" topic, you will get the guide, practice questions, free trainings, skill builder prep set, etc. There are many materials available online like below,

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Certified-Solutions-Architect-Official-Study/dp/1119138558

https://explore.skillbuilder.aws/learn/course/external/view/elearning/14760/exam-prep-aws-certified-solutions-architect-associate-saa-c03

Best wishes!

Sign up for a paid online course, many of them will have a try-before-you-buy option so you can pick the one that's right for you. Everybody is different, and an instructor that I think is great you might find appalling, and vice versa.

Pay particular attention to the labs in these courses, I find that they can make the content of the theory lessons really fall into place.

Once you think you are ready for the exam, try some practice exams (you may find some free ones online, but if you have to pay for a set they're not too expensive) and do a few of these. Pay attention to the questions you get wrong, if there's a clear pattern of areas where your knowledge isn't at the level it needs to be then go over these areas again, and find other sources (e.g. YouTube videos, blogs, etc.) that may explain things from a different angle that allows you to "get it".

You know yourself what time of day you're at your peak, some people are morning people, others are night owls, so schedule your exam for the time of day that gives you the best chance. I actually found it useful to do practice exams when I knew my brain was not firing on all cylinders, my feeling being if I could hit the pass mark at these times then I was more confident of getting a good mark for real, when sitting the exam at the time of day that was best for me.

Lastly, if this is your first AWS exam and you're sitting it at home, and haven't been through the whole online proctoring process, then once you're sure you're ready to sit the SAA exam, book the Cloud Practitioner exam first. Seriously. If you really are ready for SAA then you will sail through Cloud Practitioner, but if you struggle on it then you probably aren't ready for SAA.

You'll also get experience of all the kerfuffle around validating your ID and proving your workspace is compliant and all the rest of it. This means that when you come to do SAA, which is a more difficult exam, and you're going to be more stressed (or at least apprehensive), at least you won't be coming across this for the first time, and are less likely to be thrown by it all.

And at the end of it you'll have one extra cert to put on your CV and LinkedIn profile :-)
