AWS SES Sending Email

Hello,

I am using the sandboxed version of SES. I have an email that has been verified. Yet when I send an email from or to that email address, AWS keeps saying:

Message rejected: Email address is not verified. The following identities failed the check in region EU-NORTH-1: .**@gmail.com SMTP code: 554

I have deleted and re-verified the address many times but to no avail.. Any idea why this is happening?
