Please refer to some troubleshooting steps listed in Troubleshooting AWS IoT Analytics - https://docs.aws.amazon.com/iotanalytics/latest/userguide/troubleshoot.html. May be these
- How do I know if my messages are getting into AWS IoT Analytics?
- Why is my pipeline losing messages? How do I fix it?
- Why is there no data in my data store?
Also you can check cloudwatch to check if there is an issue with the rule. https://docs.aws.amazon.com/iot/latest/developerguide/diagnosing-rules.html and the message payload syntax https://docs.aws.amazon.com/iotanalytics/latest/userguide/payload-syntax.html
- My messages are coming. I can see it on the channel.
- I created the pipeline and defined the rule but was still not able to see it.
- pipeline is not working,hence no data
Kindly tell me how to solve the issue.
Please follow and cross check all the troubleshooting steps applicable in here https://docs.aws.amazon.com/iotanalytics/latest/userguide/troubleshoot.html . Make sure the region and channel name used in the rule are correct. To ensure your data is reaching the rules engine and the rule is being executed correctly, you might want to add a new target to store incoming messages in the Amazon S3 bucket temporarily. Feel free to show the sample of payload which rules sends
I checked but could not figure it out. I have not defined any activities in the pipeline, can that be the reason?

I think the pipeline is not executing, but not able to find the issue.
