Over the past week we seem to be getting a lot of timeouts when our instance is connecting to external sources. We see this with sending emails to an external email server and when ftping files to an external ftp server.
It would appear connections are established, but part way through the transfer the connection freezes and eventually timesout.
I have rebooted the instance to see it that would help, and id doesn't appear to.
Are there problems with EC2 in the eu-west-1 region?
