New Startup, needing additional help from AWS to help with launching.

0

I would love to get some help from an AWS advisor or someone who has had the same pain points as us. What programs internally can help accelerate our roadmap? I had made contact with an Amazon employee over LinkedIn and they had mentioned there are programs we don't know about, internally that can help our app succeed. I would love to get setup with an AWS advisor or if anyone that has used AWS with their startup and has some direction/guidance, that would be great. We are utilizing credits (5k) and are almost out. When we launch we might see our usage cost us in the hundred's of thousands a month. Our lack of funding is a pain point, we need help. Thank you everyone.

As a startup looking for additional help from AWS, there are several programs and resources available to accelerate your roadmap and help your app succeed:

  1. AWS Startup Programs: AWS offers specialized support for startups through their Global Startup Program. This program is designed to help startups go to market faster with AWS and includes various benefits.

  2. AWS Partner Network (APN) Startup Track: AWS is introducing a Startup Track within their AWS Specialization Program, starting in Q1 2025. This track is purpose-built to support startups in achieving AWS Specialization, which can help showcase your expertise to customers and unlock benefits designed to assist you in going to market with AWS.

  3. Marketing Development Funds (MDF): Eligible Global Startup program Partners can take advantage of MDF to create fully AWS-funded co-branded joint marketing assets. These can include eBooks, workshops, case studies, and webinars, which can help promote your startup.

  4. Technical Account Manager (TAM): If you upgrade to Enterprise Support, you'll have access to a TAM who can work closely with your team to provide tailored engagements throughout your cloud journey. They can help with proactive planning, advisory services, and continuous improvement.

  5. AWS Support: Consider upgrading your support plan. Enterprise Support offers comprehensive resources, including proactive planning, advisory services, and access to cloud experts for best practices and troubleshooting.

  6. AWS Marketplace: AWS is investing in making it easier for customers to find, buy, and use partner software in AWS Marketplace. This could be an opportunity for your startup to reach more customers.

  7. Cost Optimization: Given your concerns about future costs, work with AWS to understand their cost model and optimize your resource usage. This is crucial as you scale up.

  8. Additional Credits: While you're running low on your initial credits, reach out to AWS about the possibility of additional credits or cost-saving programs for startups.

Remember to take advantage of AWS's getting started resources, forums, and conferences. These can provide valuable insights and networking opportunities. Don't hesitate to reach out directly to AWS for more specific guidance tailored to your startup's needs.
