Hello,

Recently I have created the SES and its in sandbox env. I want to delete it but "request to Prod access" isn't coming for me instead it's showing- "view get up set page".

Can anyone help me with it?

Need immediate support Thanks in advance!

Hello.

You should be able to apply by following the steps described in the document below.
By the way, have you verified your domain or email address?
If I hadn't done this, I don't think I would have been able to press the apply button.
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/ses/latest/dg/request-production-access.html

If you’re a new customer and haven’t created any identities yet, then the SES account set up wizard in the console will be enabled to help you get started. See Set up your SES account for instructions on how to access the wizard.

If you’ve already created one or more identities, you’ll see the Get set up page instead of the account set up wizard.

If one of your identities is a verified domain, you’ll be able to request production access directly from the Get set up page as well. This is because verifying your domain with SES before requesting production access is a best practice that helps to get your production access request approved faster so you can start sending email right away.

Please create an ID by clicking "Create identity" first to verify your domain and email address.
Once you have created your ID, click "Request production access" to request production access.

  • I have created the identifiers-both mail address and domain name . However domain name verification is on “verification pending status.

  • I think the domain must be verified. After creating an ID, register a CNAME record in the domain's hosted zone using the steps in the document below. https://docs.aws.amazon.com/ses/latest/dg/creating-identities.html#just-verify-domain-proc

  • does it normally take so much time to get verified--the domain? can still see my domain is under verification.

  • also if suppose the ses is on will it charge me? ec2 instances are terminated--FYI

  • Domain verification usually only takes a few minutes. It may take a few hours, but I think it's basically finished right away.

There is no charge just because SES is in production access. You will be charged a fee once you actually start sending emails.
