Hi,
the message is explaining the root cause of the issue:
Link access cannot be updated because one of its containing folders is shared via a link. To change permissions or share it privately, go to the containing folder that has enabled link access.
Have you verified that none of the parent folders to the folder you are trying to share has not already been shared? You can identify shared folder via a small person icon on the lower right of the folder icon. Once you have found that folder, you need to switch off link sharing before being able to enable link sharing for one of the child elements (folders or documents)
Cheers
Massimiliano

Yes, that is already checked, none of the containing folders are shared via a link. This error seems to have come up all of a sudden, and Share Links had been working fine for a long time. I am wondering if its a problem with AWS and other WorkDoc accounts are also facing this ?
Hi, if you have already verified that no other parent folders (at any level of the hierarchy down to the root folder) has not been already shared, I suggest to open a support case via this link.
