Why am I being charged for Amazon EC2 when all my instances were terminated?

Even though I had stopped all the instances. I got the bill. I didn't understand how I got the bill even though i stopped all the EC2 instances.In the month of May I not at all created any EC2 instance but i got the bill payment for the month May. I didn't understand how I got that bill sir.As a student Iam unable to pay that much bill sir. So please excuse me sir if i forgot to stop any EC2 instance. In case if i forgot to stop any instance please excuse me sir for paying that much amount sir or else please reduce the billing amount sir,as i was a student currently I don't have money to pay. please excuse me sir next time i wont repeat this.

You can have a bill if you used EBS

You can use [Cost Explorer](https://aws.amazon.com/aws-cost-management/aws-cost-explorer/) to figure out exactly which resources you are using and where - for any billing related question, I suggest to raise a support cases through your console since someone will have to take a look at your account to provide advice.

It is likely you still have EBS volumes and EIP unattached to the instances. Please refer to the following documentation to remove unwanted EBS volumes and release EIPs.
