Unauthorized Use of Credit Card for AWS

-3

Hello, my credit card is being used for AWS payments, without authorization, by my former company. I have already sent support requests to AWS via email and the support center but have not yet received any response after 10 days. Case in support center remains unassigned. Should I file for chargeback instead? I also need the details of the payor so that I can pursue legal action against them

Hi,

Apologies for any concern. Cases are answered in the order they are received, continue to work with our teams via your case and keep an eye out for their reply.

Check out this article for advice on what to do when you believe you've been charged by AWS when you don't have an AWS account: https://repost.aws/knowledge-center/charges-from-unknown-account.

  • It has been 26 days and my support ticket is still unassigned. My credit card has been used again. Is a charge back request the only way to get through to AWS billing support?
