Can EC2 store and retrieve data to and from client's on-premise storage?

I am still novice with AWS.

Is it possible to have an EC2 on AWS but it can send and retrieve data to and from customer's own data storage.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

Thank you for posting your question here :)

It is possible to send and retrieve data from on-premises storage while making use of Amazons EC2 by utilizing The AWS Storage Gateway which makes it possible for data migration.

I have included below resources that will help guide you in this process
