"(ModelErrorException) when calling the Converse operation: The system encountered an unexpected error during processing. Try your request again.“

I am encountering an intermittent **ModelErrorException ** when using the Anthropic Claude 3.5 Sonnet model integrated via the Converse API in my application. The issue occurs randomly, without any identifiable pattern, and tends to resolve itself after a few retry attempts. However, since the error happens unpredictably, it has become difficult to debug and ensure consistent performance. Has anyone encountered this issue or found a workaround? Could you please provide any insights or potential solutions to this issue? Any guidance on how to better diagnose or prevent this error from occurring would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your assistance!

Hello,

I understand that you faced "(ModelErrorException) when calling the Converse operation: The system encountered an unexpected error during processing. Try your request again.“ error intermittently and it was resolved automatically after few retry attempts.

I would like to mention that, this error usually occurs when the request failed due to an error while processing the model.[1]
