I have added ApiGateway:TagResource in IAM policy and its giving error.

I created the resource using cloudformation, I got the error as account is not authorized to perform ApiGateway:TagResource. Later I added this permission in IAM policy and the resource got created but in console its showing this errror.

Can someone please explain why its happening.

This is a known issue from AWS end and the team is aware of it. This error message will appear: "Invalid Action: The action apigateway:TagResource(or any other) does not exist." You can disregard this error and continue, as the team is working to add this action to the API Gateway Service.
