NICE DCV with external authentication -- can I avoid supplying a password to unlock the screen? (Web client with Linux)

To unlock the screen (gnome lock screen) the user needs a password. We're trying to avoid giving passwords; we use external authentication so users log in via our login system. Any workarounds?

I logged this is a bug (the said feature request). See my original question here: https://repost.aws/questions/QUNQuF_O0BQjuPNDg1eEhz9Q/use-dcv-gateway-but-it-is-not-logging-into-instance-brings-up-ctrl-alt-delete-screen

Before External Authentication we were passing username and passwords as query params when connecting via Browser with a really long bogus/unused param before it to push the username and password to the end.

We have not with DCV. We just display the username and password on the previous screen. LtnSnoopy (had to create a new profile)
