Get more space In SPICE

Question

Hi! I had a problem uploading a dataset due to SPICE capacity; there is an error that shows: "SPICE limit exceeded for account"

Is that a mistake? or, is there any way to get more space?

Answer

If you have used all your SPICE capacity you can purchase more capacity by following these steps from your QuickSight console:

1. Open the administration page by choosing **Manage QuickSight** from your profile menu on the top-right corner.
2. Choose **SPICE capacity** from the left navigation pane .
3. Click the **PURCHASE CAPACITY** button.
4. From there you can insert the amount of additional SPICE capacity you'd like to purchase.

If you wish you may also turn on SPICE auto capacity purchasing to avoid having these errors in future but have in mind it doesn't support auto-decrement in case you have unused SPICE capacity.
