I am reaching out to inquire about the availability of the Ubuntu Server 20.04 LTS (HVM) AMI with SSD volume type in the AWS Marketplace. I have been unable to locate this specific configuration and wanted to confirm whether it is available or if there are any plans to include it in the near future.

The SSD volume type is critical for my project requirements, and having access to the latest AMIs is essential for optimizing performance.

Hello.

You should be able to search for the Ubuntu AMI you are looking for from the URL below.
https://cloud-images.ubuntu.com/locator/ec2/

You can search for Ubuntu AMIs by selecting the following items from the URL above.
After searching for an AMI, simply check the AMI ID from the region you are using and launch EC2.
By the way, as of September 2024, the 24.04 series of Ubuntu is the latest version that can be used on AWS.
