How to add Timestream data source to Quicksight (Connection is valid, but no tables are found)
0
Hi there, we have a timestream database in eu-west-1 region. I am trying to add this database to QuickSight to visualize it. All my attempts end up with "No tables found" during data source creation. Quicksight does not see my Timestream tables. Are there any permissions I must set to allow Quicksight listing my timestream tables? Can I find it anywhere in the documentation? All the tutorials "just work" or this part is skipped.
Thanks for any advice.

Never mind. I already found the solution and it seems very obvious. We were using Quicksight instance from another region than our Timestream. After we switched to
https://eu-west-1.quicksight.aws.amazon.com
the datasource was properly found and everything works as expected.
